  1. Aww, don’t hate science! Science is the way by which we understand our world! It allows us to stop thinking superstitiously and start thinking rationally.
    Anyway, your question. All pigments absorb certain frequencies of light and reflect others. As it turns out, the major pigments used by plants (chlorophylls) absorb red and blue light best and reflect green. The red and blue light absorbed by a plant’s chlorophyll pigments is used to drive photosynthesis. Photosynthesis, as you know, is the process by which plants make food.

  2. I am learning about this now so I can pretty much tell you all that I learned… There are different kinds of cholorophyll A, and B. They are both used to absorb different wavelengths of light.
