How Long Does A Mac Pigments And Mac Eyeshawdows Last?

Do you mean before it runs out or before it goes bad? If you use it everyday, I would think about 6-8 months for a pan and 12-18 months for a pigment. They don’t really go bad because there is no moisture in them, but if you want to clean from time to time, just put a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad and swipe the surface of the powder (obv not the pigment).

I’ve had one pan eyeshadow that I use AT LEAST a couple of times a month and I’ve had it for a over year and it doesn’t even have much of a dent, and I’m not incredibly stingy with the application. I’d say it would be worth the money to invest in a few colors you know you’ll love for a long time, pigment or eyeshadow. here’s a pic of how much I have left after a little over a year http://i28.tinypic.com/qn1buf.jpg
    If you’re worried about the price of the pigments, I would suggest checking out Taylor Made Minerals (yahoo search will bring it up)
    It’s 5 or 6 bucks for 5 grams of eyeshadow (lasts forever) and they are really good and have amazing colors. I have at least 15 colors from her. Good luck!

  2. I wear mac makeup and I still have eyeshadow that is at least two years old…..I know that they last longer more than 1 to 2 months though……..

  3. I use the fluid eyeshadow and it doesn’t smudge or swear. The powder one is just as good also. ALL DAY LONG!

    but you could use some mixing medium with pigments or urban decay eye potion before putting pigment on
    it last longer
