If you’re trying to break it into the medical profession, then you’re going to need as much schooling as possible. You can’t cut corners because you’re dealing with patients.
If you want an easy position, be a receptionist. If you don’t want to deal with the patients, do Insurance verification.
That’s simple… to apply for the Radiology Tech. (x-ray tech.) program at Mesa College in SD… all you need to do is take these classes and you can apply for the 2 yr. program they have which is the best school in all of Ca! It’s not that long and it’s very worth it because you start out making at least $3500 a month usually… and you can be a travel tech. and make $50 an hour.. etc… So here are the classes….:
Information Systems (computer class)
English 120 or higher
Math 90 (which is basic algebra)
PHY 120
and Human Anatomy/physiology (which you’ve already done!)
Plus you have to volunteer at your local hospital for 50 hours in the Radiology dept.
so all of that shouldn’t take you too long to complete. plus you’ve already completed the hardest class you’ll have to take which is Human Anatomy!
I know that there are some other vocational schools that might be able to get you right in to start school, but I don’t recomend them because they charge you a lot more money and even though you get done with their program faster, some hospitals aren’t as likely to hire you because those schools wouldn’t teach you as much as Mesa College where they fully prepare you!
But for almost every type of career in the medical field, you will most likely have to get your AS degree in Science at least. So just keep up the studying and you’ll find what your looking for!
Marvel, you took ALL THOSE COURSES and you want a field that “doesn’t REQUIRE SCHOOLING?”
Sounds like you took pre-req’s for becoming an LPN.
If you want an “easy” job become a CNA.
It’ll be a shame though, all that schooling for nothing….
Patient Transporter or Janitor. They are pretty much mindless jobs, and no schooling.
