Is It True That Most Of The 1960s And 1970s Disney Movies Are Based On Drugs?

today my health teacher told us that movies that were made in that era were based on drugs or the producers were on drugs. he said they were taking LSD and other drugs that make you hallucinate. that’s why dumbo has such big ears, and tinkerbell and peterpan can fly, and why snow white saw little dwarves. is it really true? were the producers on drugs and saw this stuff and put it to movies?

  1. I believe the specific movie they were refering to was Fantasia

  2. your health teacher is just trying to destroy your ideas and memories of disney. he’s what i like to term “a brainwasher”
    it’s pure myth.
also, peter pan was made way before disney, and i dont think the dude who made it was on drugs (watch the movie finding neverland)
please dont let your teacher corrupt your brain in such a patty way.
he’s prolly telling you coz he missed out on his childhood and is taking it out on ya’ll.

  3. I do not have the ultimate answer to that but I’d say no. I went to the Disneyland museum and they explained the context in which the movies were made and everything… and it didn’t really let place for drug use..

  4. i think most classic disney movies are actually based on books

  6. considering that most of the people working on the film were older, no I wouldn’t say it is true.

  7. lol… that explains alice in wonderland

  8. Yeah, and don’t forget Herbie the Love Bug.

  9. I wouldn’t doubt it.
