Has Anyone Ever Tried Pharmacy Drugs To Hallucinate?

What’s interesting to me is that a drug dealer on the street is no different from a pshyciatrist. Its just, one has a license and the other doesn’t.
My friend recently hallucinated from Ambien like she was on acid.
purpose?Has anyone tried any pharmacy drugs to hallucinate?

  1. I wouldn’t begin to compare Ambien to acid. You won’t hallucinate from it, but I’ve felt like I was zooming around my room while in my bed. I actually was worried about hitting a wall at some point. When I take too much Ambien I’ll sort of black out and wake up in a random spot.
DXM is over the counter and is very similar to PCP and Ketamine, so one could probably hallucinate if they took a huge amount.

  2. I’ve used both DXM (cough syrup) and Ambien for recreational purposes.
DXM was really more of a deliriant than a hallucinogen – the night just became an immemorable blur, though I did have some sensory distortion. Not recommended.
Ambien slowed me down massively – everything seemed to be melting. Again not really much of a hallucinogen in comparison to other psychedelics, but it was fun nonetheless. It’s very difficult to stay awake unless you mix it with some sort of a stimulant (like Adderall). It is NOTHING like acid in my opinion. (Acid is much more fun and interesting)
I wouldn’t bother doing either of these substances again.

  3. I have, but looking back it’s not very safe with most substances. Things like cough medicine and diphenhydramine can cause significant damage to your body when ingested in large quantities. That being said, one can get the desired effects of Ambien with much smaller quantities. The user often experiences double vision, non-linear thought process and relaxation on this drug. However, take no more than 2 tablets. Too many sleeping pills will put you into a drug-induced coma.

  4. Ambien is a sleeping agent…. i mean if she took it and fought the urge to sleep, there could’ve been a slight hallucination that she went through.
it’s kinda like when kids try to trip off of Robatussin, Delsum, or C’s. with these the body wants to sleep, obviously if you fight the urge to sleep your gonna have some hallucinating effects.
    hope that helps. :]

  5. I’ve never heard of it in this context, but a drug is a drug. Some people react to drugs in different ways, especially to the dosage. It depends on taking it on an empty stomach or not. Lots of factors play a part in things like this.
