Prox-Chem appears to be a protected trademark of Protex International, a French company. (The trademark information web link is below.)
On the trademark page, it notes that this for, “Chemical products for use in industry, science, photography, as well as agriculture, horticulture and forestry; unprocessed artificial resins, unprocessed plastics; fertilizers; fire extinguishing compositions; tempering and soldering preparations; chemical substances for preserving foodstuffs; tanning substances; adhesives used in industry.”
There is no reference to paint.
Protex International (website also below) does not appear to have any paint-related businesses.
