What Type Of Adhesive Should I Use To Attach Rice Paper To Glass Window Panes?

I want to substitute rice paper glued to the window panes for curtains in a bathroom. I would like to know which kind of adhesive will attach the paper evenly without showing when light passes through. It should be a durable bond but be able to be dissolved when I want to go back to plain glass panes.

  1. GOOP is clear and bonds anything to anything without fail. It’s super great stuff. I use it all the time; I’m sure it will work. You use Goof Off to remove glue, paint, ink, etc.. Goof Off and a razor blade will get it off at a later date. Both are sold at homecenters for about $4.

  2. I would suggest rubber cement. Maybe look for a translucent kind so it won’t show the streaks. Elmer’s brand has a translucent rubber cement.
Rubber Cement has a strong bond….but when you dont need it there anymore, it will most likely rub right off. Good Luck!
