Does Saran Wrap Really Work As An Adhesive When Heated?

I read this article on making a card. It said to use a black note card, put a piece of cling wrap on the front cover, lay a patterned napkin down on it, and then iron it and the cling wrap will act as an adhesive. Is this true?

  1. coincidence you asked; I tried that 3x last week and not once did it work for me! Only a tiny bit held to the card but the napkin lifted once it cooled and I wound up gluing it down…I won’t waste my time on this one anymore…..but, maybe for someone else it did work?

try it. if something goes wrong you can sue the person who wrote the article. win/win

  3. I’ve never heard that. I would think it would give off toxins when heated, so I wouldn’t try it myself.
