Hey i bought some 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant from the hardware store and was wondering if ti work on a 9′ plastic boat made by pelican. Theres a small crack and i need to fix it.

Probably not. Most molded plastic boats cannot be glued at all. The HDPE plastic is so inert that virtually nothing will adhere to it. Repairs are usually made by welding with heat and a plastic filler rod. There are a few products that might work but will not stand up to much strain or flexing:
King StarBond
3M Scotch-Weld DP-8005
it will fix the problem but probably only temporally keep an eye on it
3m’s 5200 underwater sealant will stop the leak, but it won’t repair it. When the plastic flexes, you’re going to get wet.
